Project Rockstar: Coming Soon
Project Rockstar is right around the corner. If you plan on applying I would hurry and get your application together. This thing is going to be off the charts!  Mr. M was buzzing about it the whole time I was in London. He has some big plans for the guys that win this year. He is already getting together some amazing guest speakers and putting together the supporting cast.
Project Rockstar is literally a once in a lifetime opportunity. If you are lucky enough to be a part of this, your life will never be the same. I wonder when your old, how many single events you can look back on and say, “That event changed the course of my life.  My kids look different because I was apart of that. The woman I married and the friends I have, would all look different if I wasn’t part of that.”
Strange how one thing here or there, can set your life on a completely different course or break you out of a rut. Project Rockstar is one of those things where you make some life long friends and take away some knowledge that you will teach your own son someday. There is literally nothing in the community like it. There is nothing literally ON THE PLANET where you get to learn that much information in every genre of game from the very best.
Project Rockstar takes so much time, energy, and effort that it’s impossible to predict if it will be done in the future, so if you are on the fence about this you need to make your mind up soon. Â Mr. M and I were going over some of the applicants for this year and it will be tough to make the class.
A few guys have made the mistake of sending in an application for project rockstar focusing on trying to impress the committee with how much game knowledge and experience they have. I’m not saying you shouldn’t mention it in your file, but having game has little or no bearing on getting selected. Make sure your application paints the WHOLE picture of who you are as a person, especially outside of game.
