I love you, Braddock!
While I was brought up in the community on cold approaches, but it seems like I’ve been social circle gaming naturally all the time. Its so important to get a good wing in these situations, and a good balance between you and him. I have a natural friend who is unfortunately not that successful with women, but we bounce off each other wonderfully when around sets. He always paints himself as either the glue, or the one who LOOKS like he’s undercutting me, but actually DHVing both of us.
+1 on the ‘taking them aside’ too. I’m one of these guys who did (and still do sometimes unfortunately) laugh the first 30 times and snap on the 31st. Its great to punish bad behaviour on the night, while its still relevant. Instead of bringing it up weeks after. :/
