Yeah it was stupid from Kanye and shows he still has all the arrogance and disrespect he’s ever had, even though he claims to have changed. But on the other hand, Taylor mother f***ing Swift wins best female Video?! Are the judges 10 years old? Sure it’s the VMAs but this is an all time low. This is like Miley Cyrus winning. These songs are made for kids and people with questionable taste in music or as a guilty pleasure for everyone else. And their videos are just as bad. The VMAs are pretty narrow minded in who wins so you won’t see many non main stream artists winning but even they should be completely ashamed to have picked such an unoriginal and cheesy effort. Also, from a PUA viewpoint, how badly does Taylor Swift and her videos perpetuate false ideals of romance and relationships? She sings about princes and princesses, ‘love stories’ and other stuff so cheesy it gives this ridiculously rosy picture of teenage love. I’m not advocating anything cynical or degrading instead, but Taylor Swift is just one of many artists who add to U.S. society’s fallacy that girls want ‘nice’ guys, and that women are just waiting to be swept off their feet by a guy who will bend over backwards to please them.
Is everyone on the world fucking retarded? Like really? I understand nobody tells you this shit but doesn’t anyone realize that this shit is fake? It obviously was done for huge publicity and it worked perfectly (it just happened that the camera was panned to beyonces reaction and Kanye magically got to the stage). The government does this too. 9/11? Well, they needed people to join the army, and that fucking worked amazingly. Pearl Harbor? Don’t get me started… If anybody sees this, watch the movie Zeitgeist on youtube, and do research about whats going on in the world. Don’t bring up the stereotypes that were put into your head by the media about conspiracies and look this shit up.
